ABOUT OURSELVES
Belgaum is situated amidst peaceful surroundings and salubrious climate; It is situated on the Bangalore-
Pune highway about 500 kms from Bangalore and 400kms from Pune. The Karnataka Lingayat
Education Society was established in the year 1916. The college of Pharmacy was established in 1968,
a pioneering Pharmacy institution in northern Karnataka, started with diploma course and subsequently
degree in the 1975 and postgraduate course in 1988. The college is recognised by various bodies like
AICTE, PCI and Rajiv Gandhi university of health sciences, Bangalore. Ours is the only institution to be
accredited “A” by NBA. Our institution has been identified as Quality Improvement Programme SUB
CELL by All India Council for Technical Education, New-Delhi.Our campus sprawling over 100 acres of
panoramic greenery is well planned with all amenities of a mini township. Superimposed by colossal
main building, the college has spacious, ventilated furnished rooms and modern infrastructure and
laboratories. The campus has an ultra modern hospital and medical research centre of 1000 bed
capacity.
